2017 Hike a thon
Summit Academy students participated in their annual Hike-a-thon and all school picnic on Wednesday May 10th. Students met at Castle Creek Campground on the north fork of the Clearwater for a potluck before hitting the trail. Younger students walked a wide path along Castle Creek, while the older students set out up a trail full of switchbacks to a nearby summit. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated the sunny day, a rare treat this spring. Hikers enjoyed s'mores after return


Students Participate in Apostolic Virtue Campaign
Students at Summit Academy participated in a school-wide apostolic virtue campaign during Lent. Each class was challenged to do a fundraiser to benefit Gate of Grace, a Boise-based organization which provides a home and support for displaced young pregnant women. The school has raised over $1000 for Gate of Grace so far, with a few class projects still in the works. Second Graders Receive First Communion
Summit second graders received their First Communion on April 30th. By tradition, they wore their special clothes to school on Monday and were congratulated by the student body after morning prayer. #Sacraments
