In addition to federal and state deductions for your charitable contribution, Idaho residents may claim an Idaho State Tax credit which directly reduces your state tax liability.
For example, a couple who files a joint tax return in Idaho and who donates $1000 could receive a state tax credit of $500. Other deductions may be available on your federal and state income taxes based on your tax bracket. Please advise your tax preparer that St. John Bosco Academy is a fully accredited school to receive your full benefits.

Contribute to our Endowment Fund:
St. John Bosco Academy has established an Endowment Fund managed by the Idaho Catholic Foundation. The purpose of an Endowment Fund is to provide a steady income stream for the school. A gift to the endowment provides a lasting legacy to education future generations. There are many options for contributing to the endowment fund:
Memorial Gifts
Stock, real estate, IRA, or life insurance gifts
Matching employer giving
Bequest through your will or trust
IRA or 401k donations are tax exempt for those 70.5 years old or older
