Summit Academy Jr Hi students recently attended GREAT (Getting Ready for Engineering and Technology) Day at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories in Lewiston. The day included working with engineers at SEL on developing an app, working hands-on with electrical models and touring the SEL facilities.
Summit Academy science students will spend the next few months caring for and observing steelhead eggs through a project sponsored by the Dworshak Fishery. The eggs were delivered recently and the students will release the fish in a local stream in a few months. Shown are students in 7th and 8th grade as they release the eggs into an aquarium.
