Algebra 1 students celebrated Pi Day with a treat during class. They also decided to celebrate St. Pius as their saint for the day.

The lesson for the day included a special Pi challenge: With objects (find them or make your own, but no drawings), estimate Pi to three decimal places. Remember Pi is the Circumference divided by the Diameter. Use measuring devices, preferably tape or rulers with mm.

The winner of this challenge was award $3.14
