Physics students fling produce

A catapult competition was held among physics students recently. Two groups built contraptions which they then tested with lots of enthusiasm from elementary spectators. One was a slingshot design while the other was a trebuchet. The effects of force and gravity were observed. And all learned that a head of lettuce is best if you're going for a shotgun effect!
